The Tidewater RegionRepresentatives:
The Tidewater Region of VASP includes the large cities of Hampton Roads as well as the more rural districts of Western Tidewater. Our goal is to serve as a resource to the school psychologists of the region by providing meaningful professional development opportunities, as well as a forum for school psychologists to connect across our broad and diverse part of the state.

- Includes several universities, including the College of William & Mary, Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport University, Norfolk State University, Regent University, and Hampton University
- Main industries include the military, tourism, shipping, and shipbuilding
- Home to four Fortune 500 Corporations: Smithfield Foods, Norfolk Southern, Dollar Tree, and Huntington Ingalls Industries
- Major attractions include the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Colonial Williamsburg, the Virginia Zoo, the Chrysler Museum, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Water Country USA
